GOOD NEWS is a 56 foot catamaran built in LaRochelle, France by a company called Fountaine Pajot. She was contracted for in December of 1998 and the Yaw's took possession of her in LaRochelle in June of 1999.

She has three double cabins, each with private head and shower. She has a dining area, navigation station, galley, and settee in the main saloon. She has a seating area for 10 in the cockpit outside.

Her engines are two 88 hp diesel, and a generator. She also has a watermaker, scuba tank refill station, inverter, refrigerator, freezer, washer/dryer, HVAC. Her safety gear includes a 6 person life raft, appropriate flares and life jackets, sounding devices, SSB radio and VHF radios.

Her electronics include radar, sonar, plotter, GPS, multi-data instruments, two auto-pilots, and an Inmarsat satellite telephone.

She is truely a gift from God.
